1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Melbourne Property Preparers.
“Client” refers to the person, business, or entity engaging the Company’s services.
“Services” include, but are not limited to, handyman work, cleaning, gardening, rubbish removal, styling, minor repairs, and renovations.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Melbourne Property Preparers, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full. Services will commence once the Client has confirmed acceptance, either verbally, in writing, or via email.
3. Quotations and Payment
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
A deposit may be required before work commences.
Full payment is due upon completion of the services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For clients opting to pay once the property is sold: payment must be made within 180 days from the completion of services, regardless of the sale date.
Installment plans may be arranged upon request, with terms agreed in writing prior to commencement of services.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.
The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 2% per month.
4. Service Schedule
The Company will use reasonable efforts to complete services at the agreed date and time.
The Company is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its control, including weather, supplier delays, or access issues.
5. Access to Property
The Client must ensure the Company has safe and timely access to the property.
The Company is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by lack of access.
6. Client Obligations
Remove or secure any fragile or valuable items prior to service.
Provide clear instructions regarding specific areas, tasks, or requirements.
Ensure pets and children are kept safe during service.
7. Warranty and Liability
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and request correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete.

8. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee.
Refunds may be provided at the Company’s discretion if work has not yet commenced.
9. Rubbish Disposal
All waste generated by the Company will be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Hazardous materials (asbestos, chemicals) are not included in standard services unless explicitly agreed.
10. Photography and Marketing
The Company may take before-and-after photos for marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise.
11. Privacy
The Company respects Client privacy and will not share personal information without consent, except as required by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
13. Acceptance
By engaging Melbourne Property Preparers, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
